Friends of Bronte Creek Park
Come out and meet JJ and Reggie! Two thoroughbred horses that have come to the park for their summer vacation. JJ and Reggie are two retired race horses that are under the care of a retired race horse society. They have come to spend the summer at Bronte Creek so wander over and say hello to these two big fellas! They are located in the paddock near Spruce Lane Farmhouse and will be outside most days from about 9am until 4pm.
Our latest members of the farm are a litter of piglets born on Saturday, May 17. Although too young to be on display just yet you should be able to see them soon! Check back here for updates on when they will be available for admirers!
We're spying on the tree swallows! Come to the Nature Centre and check out what's going on in the bedroom of the Tree Swallows! We've installed a camera in one of the nest boxes and can now watch live as the swallows incubate their eggs. In the coming weeks we hope to see the birth and fledging of the baby swallows! The nature centre is open 10am-4pm on weekends during May and June.
