Bronte Creek Provincial Park ---DAY-CAMP GROUPS

Bronte Creek does not offer a summer day camp. However many local day camps use the park as a field trip option. This page is for day-camp directors and leaders.

Summer Day Camp Program booking and reservation information

WHAT and HOW

  • A group of 30 kids or less can enjoy.
  • ½ hour Discovery Tour in the Nature Centre.
    Explore the 3 display rooms. A variety of animals may include: snakes, turtles, frogs and a live honey bee hive. Discovery room with hands on exhibits.
  • ½ hour play time in the Playbarn.
    Children 10 and under explore tunnels, tubes, slides and jumping pits.
  • ½ hour tour of Spruce Lane Farmhouse.
    Tour through a house built in 1899 and is decorated to reflect the Victorian era. Kids see and get a sense of what life was like for children over 100 years ago.

    Reservations for the SUMMER can be made starting on the first Monday in MAY.

    Programs are available between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

    All programs are offered rain or shine. (Programs take place indoors)

    There are picnic shelters throughout the park for lunch or snack time. Picnic shelters can be reserved during the last 2 weeks of JUNE only, additional fee applies.

    Programs are limited to 30 students per time slot. Therefore if your group has 35 students remember to book 2 time slots of each program requested.

    Please note that the public can enjoy the Playbarn concurrently with your group. There is a limit of 1 group per ½ hour time slot and classes are limited to 1 Playbarn booking per day.

    To reserve a DAY-CAMP trip, you MUST Fax a completed DAY-CAMP program request form to 905-827-8706 attention DAY-USE Reservations.

    If your group wishing to use the 1.8 acre outdoor swimming pool there is an addition fee person per day. This fee is payable at the pool gate. Entry is not guaranteed. Pool hours 11:00 - 6:00 pm daily weather permitting. The pool and pool area is evacuated during a thunder storm and remains closed for 20 minutes after the last lightening. WE DO NOT RESERVE SPACE IN THE POOL.

  • A non-refundable program fee of $12.00/ group of kids up to 30 kids is due upon receipt of your program schedule package.
