Bronte Creek Homestead Christmas:
Experience an Authentic Homestead Christmas at Bronte Creek Provincial Park

A very special treat awaits you and your family this December! Take a step back in time to the year 1900 to visit a Victorian Homestead during the Christmas season. Spruce Lane Farm at Bronte Creek Provincial Park will be trimmed and decorated in all its seasonal splendour. Experience the Christmas season like never before!

Santa's visiting schedule is now FULL and he is not taking any more reservations. You can still enjoy all the activities at the shelter.

A Homestead Christmas Helper will escort your family to Spruce Lane Farm where they will see where the reindeer train to become recruits for Santa's team. Next you and your family will slip into your Victorian costumes for your private visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Your Victorian portraits captured during your visit with Santa will be yours to take home on a souvenir USB stick. Creating memories which will last a life time!

Your Homestead Christmas experience will included traditional Christmas crafts, tours of the elegantly decorated Spruce Lane Farmhouse and seasonal stories and songs in the parlour. Learn about the holiday traditions of the Victorian era! Light refreshments will be served from the newly re-furbished wood-burning cook stove.

Reservations are required to enter and participate in the Homestead Christmas activities in Spruce Lane Farmhouse, Reindeer barn and the private visits with Santa. Reservations can be made starting October 1. Children are $15.00 each and adults are $10.00 each.

Reservations are NOT required to participate in the heritage crafts at Breckon Shelter.

Homestead Christmas activities are offered Saturdays and Sundays in December, plus weekdays of the school break leading up to the 23rd.

Other park services and activities available during December: Hiking trails, cross-country Ski trails, tobogganing, children's farm and playbarn. Outdoor ice rink scheduled to open December 18 weather permitting.
